The foreign population rate in Osona grew to 17.9% in 2024, affecting the workload of social services, which now require far more resources.

The unemployment rate among young people aged 16 to 24 in Osona is 32.5% higher than the overall unemployment rate in the county, and higher than in Barcelonès.

Between 2017 and 2023, Osona showed a sustained trend of negative natural growth.
